Please will you help crews be best prepared for any emergency?
Your donation today will help Queenslanders get the urgent care they need—for when the worst case scenario occurs.
“You never think it will happen to you,” said Jacky. She went to her local hospital after feeling unwell and finding a small red mark on her skin. “Then everything went crazy.”
Jacky was diagnosed with the deadly flesh eating disease, necrotising fasciitis.
Within hours, she was barely alive. Her only hope was surgery in a hospital hundreds of kilometres away. Thankfully, an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was available for the transfer immediately.
That’s why our engineers have such an important job—performing maintenance quickly and efficiently, so our helicopters can get straight back into action. But today our engineers need your help—help us raise $296,000 for this lifesaving engineering program for next financial year.
“That helicopter is the reason I’m alive today,” says Jacky. “You never know when you’re going to need it, so it’s fantastic that this service is always there.” It’s only there because of your support, so please give now and save Queensland lives.
Please will you give a gift, so our helicopters are ready to take flight at a moment’s notice—when the unthinkable happens to Queenslanders like Jacky?
